It’s a big task to plan a reunion for a family this size (we estimate that there are more than 1,000 descendants) and there are many opportunities to help out. If you are interested in working on a particular committee, please contact the committee head directly (please see the committee information blog post). Or if you would like to know where your services can be best used, please contact Bryant or Darlene Robison (contact info below). We’ll find a job for you.

We Need Your RSVPs

Please RSVP by October 15 if possible. Include names of all attending and the ages of children.
RSVP by mail to:

Esther Olson
P. O. Box 1315
Logandale, NV 89021

RSVP by email to: family@robisonfamilyreunion.org
RSVP by phone to: Esther Olson at 702-398-7606

We are working hard to make sure the reunion is affordable for everyone. We are suggesting that each individual family donate $10 per person or $30 per family to cover the expense of Dinner, Breakfast and Lunch and help with the cost of the facilities. However we do not want anyone to not attend because they are unable to make the suggested donation. Those who are in a position to make a more generous contribution are welcome to do so.

Also to help defray the expense, we will have a family auction Saturday morning. Please consider bringing a fun item to be auctioned. Remember the auction is not just for fund raising but also for “fun” raising.

Send funds to:
Esther Olson
Make checks payable to: Robison Family Reunion Fund
Please send funds in by November 1.

Where are the Ben and Mildred Robison Decendents?

Hey Family, we are waiting to hear from you. We have had a great response from many branches of our family. But we are worried about communication with the Ben and Mildred Robison branch. About half of the decendents of Joseph and Nellie Robison are from Uncle Ben's family. It's important that the word get out to all of them. Please help us gather email addresses for their grandchildren, great grandchildren, etc.

Those of you who have your own family blogs, let us know if you would like us to add a link to your blog--several of you have already. This can help us learn more about each of our families.

Once again, you can leave information as a comment on this blog, or you can email to family@robisonfamilyreunion.org.

Calling all Robison Decendents

Nearly 100 years ago, on January 1, 1909 Joseph Hancock and Nellie Hinckley Robison first entered Moapa Valley—then called the Muddy. They raised five children to adulthood, and now they have hundreds of descendants throughout the world.

We want to celebrate the 100th anniversary of this event with a grand family reunion of all the descendants of Joseph and Nellie Robison, as well as other extended family members who would like to attend. The reunion will be held January 2 and 3, 2009 in Logandale.

We are asking you to do four things now:

Put this great event on your calendar and plan now to attend.

Send your contact information, i.e.: address, email and phone number, to family@robisonfamilyreunion.org , or to Jack Walsh at 253-335-8113. Also send contact information for other family members.

Forward this on to others. To get the word out to everyone, we need your help.

Consider being part of the Reunion Committee.

This will be a great opportunity to renew family ties, to learn more about our great heritage and for younger generations to perhaps meet cousins they never even knew they had.

Check back at this website regularly for updates and details. We look forward to hearing from you soon and seeing you January 2, 2009.

Your cousins,

Daniel Walsh
Bryant Robison
Lee Robison
Don Murphy
Ethelyn Ryan
James Robison
Jack Walsh
